Tiger Eye stone

Tiger eye stone is a type of quartz containing iron which produces its golden yellow colour. Cabochon cut stones show the 'chatoyancy' (small ray of light on the surface) that resembles the feline eye of a tiger.  Tiger eye stone usually includes shades of honey, yellow and browns.
