Prehnite stone

Prehnite is a lovely lime or olive-green translucent gemstone which is usually shaped and set in prehnite jewellery as a polished cabochon. As a result the prehnite stone shows a lovely soft inner glow which is not available from clearer, transparent, faceted gemstones like peridot - which sparkle rather than glow. Prehnite occurs naturally in parts of Europe, China and the US and the prehnite colour is natural and not artificially enhanced.
